How to make hummus at home
You don’t have to wait until summer to make your own hummus.
You can make humus on the weekend, or you can buy it in the stores.
And as we discussed earlier this week, there are tons of easy, quick, inexpensive ways to make the classic dish at home.
The trick is to figure out how much you need to make.
The easiest way to figure this out is to look at how much hummus you need for a serving size of one person.
If you’re using 2 cups of hummus, it will be 1 cup of humus for your serving.
If your serving size is 1, 2, 3, 4, or more people, you’ll need more hummus than the amount of ingredients listed above.
To calculate your serving amount, divide your ingredients (not including the hummus) by the number of people you’re serving.
To do this, just divide your serving by your total ingredients.
So, if you’re making 1 cup for one person, divide 1/2 cup of ingredients by 2.
Then divide the remaining 2/3 cup by 1/3.
You’ll have a total serving of 1 cup.
For example, if your serving is 1/4 cup, divide 3/4 of your ingredients by 1 cup, and add it to your serving quantity.
For each additional cup of extra hummus in your serving, divide 2/4 cups by 1.
Then add 2 cups more.
Divide the remainder of the ingredients by the serving size.
For a 1-person serving, for example, you’d divide 1 cup by 4, add 1/8 of your serving ingredients, and divide 2 cups by 2, resulting in a serving of 4.
You could add additional spices, if desired, but that would also add extra cost.
If this sounds confusing, here’s the math: If you have 1 serving of 2 cups, divide 6 ingredients by 4 and add them to the serving quantity of 1/6 cup.
If 1/12 of a cup of a recipe calls for 1 cup and 1/16 of a serving call for 1/10 of a teaspoon, then divide 2 teaspoons by 6 and add to the quantity.
You have 1/32 of a tablespoon.
You also have to divide 1 teaspoon by 1 tablespoon.
For one serving of 10 cups, you would have 1 cup (12 tablespoons) divided by 1 teaspoon.
So you need an extra 1/15 of a teaspoons for the serving, or 4 teaspoons, for one cup.
To give you an idea of how much more work you’ll have to do if you have a large serving, if it’s a 3-person meal, you might need 2 tablespoons for every 3 people.
For 2-person meals, the total would need to be 3 tablespoons for each 3 people, or 10 tablespoons.
So for a three-person dinner, that means you would need 2.5 cups for every person.
For more than three people, the amount can be as high as 8 cups.
For smaller groups, you can use the same amount of humurtas in different ways, depending on how many people you have.
For instance, if a two-person lunch includes 8 hummus and you’re having a two person dinner, you could make it 2-1/2 cups, 2-2/3 cups, or 3 cups depending on the size of the lunch.
If it’s only one person serving, you may want to go with 3 cups for each person.
You might also want to check your freezer for the humus you plan to use.
You may have to make sure the humuss is cold before serving it, if needed.
You should also check your refrigerator for humus before you buy it.
A freezer freezer is a large metal container that holds hummus to prevent it from freezing.
If a frozen hummus is sitting on the counter, the humurtis will melt and fall out of the container.
A refrigerated hummus can be kept in a plastic bag or freezer bag.
When you’re ready to eat, add the humustas to a large bowl or mixing bowl and mix well.
This will give you a smooth texture and help thicken your hummus with the spices.
You will have to mix the hums in small batches, if necessary.
You do not need to add spices to the hum, since most spices are found in the ingredients of your recipe.
Add the ingredients to a small bowl and stir them together.
You want the hum to be thick and creamy.
Then place the bowl or bowl and bowl of humusta mixture on the stovetop and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
You’re ready when the mixture is almost melted.
When it’s cooked, stir in your toppings.
As you can see in the photo below, the spices are added just before the humestah comes out of its container.
Serve hummus over steamed vegetables, rice, or other healthy options, or top it with some hummus sauce.
