How to make macaron and dumpling with macaron, potato and onion
Posted August 04, 2018 06:10:59 I can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago!
These mac and dums were so amazing, I had to make them again.
My husband and I both enjoyed them, but I always made a little variation.
This time I made mac and potato, and onion and mushrooms.
These are delicious and will have you begging for more.
I have included my step-by-step photos so you can follow along and make this mac and dip.
I’ll also share a couple other variations.
To make mac and potatoes, combine the potatoes and onions in a large skillet with the butter and olive oil.
Once the potatoes are browned and softened, add the mushrooms and saute for about 3 minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned.
Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes on the stove.
Add macaron mixture to the pan, cover with foil and bring to a boil.
Cook for about 10 minutes, until the mixture has reduced by half.
Add 1/2 cup of the potato mixture, stir to coat the top, and cook for about a minute.
To serve, drizzle with a little honey and top with fresh parsley, basil, and salt.
