This paella pizza recipe is adapted from a recipe on the Paella blog.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and garlic.
Add the onion and cook for about 1 minute.
Add garlic, pepper, oregano, parsley and bay leaf and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions soften.
Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes soften and are translucent.
Add egg and cook over medium heat until the egg is cooked through.
Add red pepper flakes and cook gently, stirring, until softened.
Add cheese and cook at medium-low heat until melted.
Add fresh basil and cook again until the basil is softened.
Add parmesans and cook slowly until the parmesanos soften.
Add Parmesan cheese and red pepper to the pan and cook in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool.
Meanwhile, whisk together the remaining 1/2 cup olive oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, salt and pepper.
Spoon the dough into a prepared pizza stone or large bowl.
Place the paella in the pan, pressing down firmly to prevent the paese from sticking.
Cover with the lid and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, adjusting the baking time if necessary.
