How to Make Frosting Recipe from the Frozen Steak Recipe

If you have never frozen steak, this recipe for egg roll frosting will take you back in time.

Ingredients 1 cup all purpose flour (any brand will do) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoons salt 2 tablespoons cold water 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 egg 1 cup heavy cream (any type) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup ice cream (or powdered) Directions Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Combine flour, vegetable oil, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

Using an electric mixer or hand mixer, beat together until smooth.

Add the egg and cream, beating until just combined.

Add melted butter, stirring until combined.

Beat in vanilla extract and ice cream.

Spread the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, and place it in the freezer for 30 minutes.

After the dough is completely frozen, use a fork to press the dough into a circle and cut it in half.

If you want a more even texture, place the remaining dough into the freezer a second time and then roll it out to make the other half.

Cut the dough in half again, cut each half into two and place them in a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for about 20 minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius) until golden brown and crispy.

Notes If you like a slightly sweeter, richer texture, you may also like to use 1/4 cup granulated sugar instead of flour, but the difference in taste is minimal.
